“Nola Cady made a serious commitment to our community. . . “
Nola Cady made a serious commitment to our community when she joined the York Community Service Association (YCSA) Board of Directors. Not only has she contributed her time and her thoughtful leadership, but she has also made a significant financial contribution to this community based non-profit who is helping low income families in York. In 2017, YCSA was able to purchase a new location at 855 US Rt. One, which allowed us to bring all 3 of our different locations together so that we could create a YCSA campus. This property now houses our YCSA Thrift Store, Family Service Program, Administrative Office and our Food Pantry. Nola represented us in the purchase of that property. She also represented YCSA when we sold our old Thrift Store property in Cape Neddick. Nola very generously waived her commission on both of these transactions. We are very lucky to have Nola be part of our leadership team. We are grateful for her understanding of the impact poverty has on our community, even though it’s hard to see sometimes. We are grateful for her generous spirit and integrity. But most importantly, we are grateful for her kindness and friendship. Thank you Nola for everything.
